Looking for a fun, flexible, and fulfilling part-time role in Dublin? The Irish Tag Rugby Association (ITRA) is on the hunt for friendly, reliable, and organised individuals to become Venue Managers at our popular social sports leagues.
Our leagues run on weekday evenings across multiple Dublin venues – from Ballsbridge to Drumcondra – and each location has a dedicated Venue Manager to keep things running smoothly. You’ll be the face of the league each night, welcoming teams, supporting referees, handling admin, and helping build our vibrant community.
As a Venue Manager, you'll be responsible for setting up equipment, ensuring games start on time, and checking in with referees and captains throughout the evening. You'll enter scores accurately, complete a short end-of-night checklist, and flag any issues such as missing gear or player concerns. You'll also play a key role in helping individuals join teams, spotting new opportunities for league growth, and creating a welcoming vibe that keeps players coming back. It’s a hands-on, people-focused role with real impact.
No Tag Rugby experience? No problem. What matters most is your ability to connect with people, solve problems calmly, and create a great atmosphere for players of all levels. You’ll get full training, and we’ll back you every step of the way.
This is a paid part-time position with a consistent weekly schedule – perfect for someone who wants to gain experience in event management or community sports, or simply wants to be part of something social and active.
Whether you’re based near UCD, Rathgar, or Grangegorman, there’s likely a venue near you. If you’re the kind of person who always shows up early, gets stuck in, and brings positive energy wherever you go – we want to hear from you!
Our venue managers are paid based on the number of games at their venue, with additional opportunities for commission. The highest rate is for 4 rounds (4 hours on site and 1.5 hours admin), which is paid at 85 euro a night.
